Middle School Faith Formation
Why Middle School Faith Formation Classes?
Your elementary school students need to stay connected with their parish community by attending Middle School faith formation classes to continue learning more about how to live out the faith they have been learning about. Middle school students are very social and need to understand that they belong to a faith community too. They also need to draw upon the strength of their faith to help them maneuver the moral decisions they are faced with every day. Keeping teens involved in faith formation shows them that you feel their religious education and faith teachings are a very important part of their everyday living. You can view the curriculum by grade level by accessing the below link.
We offer religious education programming for youth in grades 6 through 7. Classes are offered on Sunday's 3:45 - 5:15 p.m.
Do you Social Events for Middle School Teens?
In addition to our faith formation programming we offer some social events throughout the school year for our middle school teens. These events are specifically for the middle school teens and their friends. Younger siblings will have the opportunity to participate when they reach middle school; something to look forward to. Please keep in mind that in order to hold social events, the Social Events Coordinator is always looking for help with the events. The Diocese requires that every teen participating in social events has an annual signed Consent to Participate form on file with the Social Event’s Coordinator. Each event has a separate Permission Slip with the details of the event outlined.
