fr. gray's column for christmas

christmas message from the pastor

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Thank you for joining us to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Emmanuel, God-with-us!

If you are new to the Park City area...

If you have been away from the Church...

If you are a visitor or seasonal parishioner...

If you have just discovered the faith...

We welcome you to St. Mary’s this Christmas season and invite you to join us again at one of our upcoming regular Masses. You can learn more about St. Mary’s, become a member, and get involved in our community through our new website StMarysParkCity.com.

Additionally, as always, please feel free to reach out to me directly with any pastoral needs or questions you have. My contact information is (435) 940-5451 and cgray@stmarysparkcity.com.

As we celebrate the coming of Christ, I want to reflect on the recommitment St. Mary’s has made this past year to bring the treasure of Christ to you, to those in need, and to all. And I want to thank all of the parishioners, volunteers, and donors who have made and continue to make this recommitment to Christ a reality through their faith, service, and generosity.

Earlier this year, St. Mary’s launched a new parish-wide giving program called the Recommitment to Give. It was an opportunity for each of us to recommit to Christ, to give back to Him the first of our own treasure, in order to bring Him to all!

Through the incredible response and faith of many, St. Mary’s has been able to launch and grow several exciting initiatives. These include:

-Continuing to offer our facilities for free to the area’s best nonprofits each week

-Launching a Young Adult Ministry

-Launching a monthly Family Holy Hour

-Launching a monthly Family Movie Night

-Launching the weekly Way of Christ Talk

-Launching a new bulletin, website & logo

-Launching our own Advent E-Reflections

-Continuing to serve those in need through our Food Bank and Thrift Store

-And much more

This Christmas we are so grateful for all our parishioners, visitors and friends whose faith, service, and generosity allow us to further our mission to bring the Treasure of Christ to all. Thank you!

In Christ,

Fr. Christopher Gray, pastor
