John the Baptist’s locusts and honey are not like our potato chips and soda. Watch St. Mary's special online Advent retreat on spiritual growth in a desert time with guest speaker Luke Heintschel, M.A. (original aired lived on Thursday, Dec 10 at 6:30 PM)!

Luke Heintschel is the headmaster of St. Joseph Academy in San Marcos, CA. In addition, he is the former Director of Communications for the Diocese of Tyler and St. Philip Institute, where he was instrumental in the creation of the Institute's high-quality Catholic teaching content including online, print, and live events and advised Bishop Joseph Strickland on theological matters. He is also the author of several Catholic articles, which have been featured in diocesan publications, and he has spoken regularly at diocesan and other Catholic conferences. Luke received his B.S. in Communications and M.A. in Biblical Theology from John Paul the Great II University.
