Altar Serve with the Templars

ALTAR SERVE AT ST. MARY'S

St. Mary’s is launching a new chapter of the Templars, a fraternal program for high school men that proposes a rhythm of altar serving, fellowship, service, and prayer to cultivate Christian masculinity in our parish.

HIGH SCHOOL MEN

Christ-centered leadership development: the Templars Order offers young men the opportunity to step into leadership roles within their chapter. Brothers develop the skills necessary to become the future leaders of their families, communities, and the Church. By serving in these roles, young men grow in virtue, decision-making, and leadership, preparing them for a lifetime of service to the Church.

BECOME A TEMPLAR

VOLUNTEER

Confrères—lay adult mentors—are essential to the success of each chapter. These men serve as role models and guides. These men model Christian manhood, mentor the young men, and ensure that the chapter remains active and engaged. The confrères are required to complete diocesan safe environment protocols before ministering to the youth of the chapter on behalf of the parish.
